Dr. Tung was born in Taipei, Taiwan and moved to the United States when he was 14. Having a father who was an electrical engineer working in the Silicon Valley, he wanted to be an electrical engineer or software engineer as well. sin embargo, when his grandfather had a serious infection in his leg due to uncontrolled diabetes, this event led me to the profession of podiatry.
